"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction. "
-- Einstein
Well, I have to be realistic here, it will take awhile before I can finally sit down and write a blog and it may never happen!
So until I can squeeze out some time for writing I will just post articles, videos, websites, books or whatever I stumble onto and I find it more than just interesting, but thought-provoking, consciousness-awakening, heart warming and hopefully encouraging enough to take action for a better future.

New!
In the study of feng shui the cycle of time changes every twenty years. Each period has its own special dominating energy or qi which has a great influence on our life. The quality of these energies are affected not just by the ever changing time, but by our environment and by our actions and even by our thoughts, therefore feng shui cannot be confined into harmonizing homes and workplaces only.
There is a much bigger picture to feng shui!
Cate Bramble said: “Think about the interconnectedness of the world - that is the essence of sustainability and of feng shui, the original science of environmental protection.” - I agree with her.
Every beginner student of feng shui starts their learning by recognizing and differentiating between sheng qi (positive energy) and sha qi (negative energy) by evaluating the environment according to forms and people’s actions.
“Don’t live besides a slaughter house, KILLING emits sha qi.” - Feng shui 101
When the destruction of people and the environment has reached its grand scale, a few years ago, the downward spiral became unstoppable; the qi what surrounds us now is sha qi and that is why harmonizing your home is simply not enough anymore!
The more advanced feng shui enthusiast learned that “we have to use the qi” to bring harmony to our life. What does this mean exactly?
In feng shui it means that we have to understand the true nature of the different qi to be able to apply it successfully, and this is where even the experienced feng shui consultants can fail.
Prosperity is one of the main focuses of feng shui and it is the most misunderstood one; it is almost always associated with money.
MONEY is not prosperity; it is the source of SHA QI which creates the most destruction on earth and of the earth, since it was invented. Money has nothing to do with sustainability!
The ‘Qi’ is an universal ‘Intelligent Entity’, therefore it has a totally different ‘perspective’ of what prosperity is and this is crucial for us, feng shui consultants, to understand, to be able to achieve true harmony.
But what is harmony really?
Simply: understanding and following the law of nature - living in symbiosis where our highest potential can be achieved through love.
In feng shui time we are in the 8th. period, which is symbolized by the Ba Gua trigram of Gen or Keeping Still. This trigram has many attributes, but the most important one is as follows:
“Keeping Still is the trigram of the northeast, where beginning and end of all creatures are completed. Therefore it is said: “He brings them to perfection in the sign of Keeping Still.” - Discussion of the Trigrams, Shuo Kua
Period 8 is the time of CHANGE, it is the END of the OLD and the BEGINNING of the NEW and it is up to US and not to the politicians and bankers, which way this change should go, towards sheng qi or sha qi.
The Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus Project give us a good glimpse of our sad reality, but also shows us solutions, solutions for a world where harmony can prevail and sheng qi can be harvested to bring true prosperity for all.
