Marianna Halassy was born in Budapest, Hungary. After completing her formal education and study as a folk artist, she traveled the countryside to increase her artistic knowledge and broaden her perspective. It was from this experience that she began to realize the importance of living in harmony with one's environment and appreciate the generosity of what nature has given us as folk remedies.
Marianna's passion for holistic health began in 1982 after a devastating illness changed her life forever. When modern medicine proved unsuccessful, Marianna turned to holistic practices for healing. Through a disciplined study and practice of yoga, Taoist philosophy, hypnosis and the use of herbal remedies she fully regained her health in a few months.
Since that time, Marianna has dedicated her life to educating and helping people to understand the profound effect of mind power and the role that intangible forces have in their lives. In 1984 she moved to the United States where she continued her study of hypnosis and other holistic practice. She completed advanced training in medical and dental hypnotherapy, regression work and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) technique and studied Taoist Arts with Master Joseph Yu at the Feng Shui Research Center in Ontario, Canada.
Marianna currently lives in Ohio where she maintains her practice at CHI Creative Healing Institute and continues in her own study of Chinese metaphysics and holistic healing.
